Mbappe decides to leave Monaco

French publication 'LEquipe' reports that the 18-year-old has decided to move on this summer after seeing team-mates Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva do the same.
The striker fired Leonardo Jardim's side to the Ligue 1 title and the Champions League semi-finals last season, beomcing one of the most sought-after properties in world football in the process.
The aforementioned source claims that the player has sat down with club officials and informed them of his desire to leave the club before the end of the current transfer window.
Just days ago, Jardim praised Mbappe for the way that he had stayed focussed in the face of all the speculation and the player could be seen training with the club as normal ahead of the start of the new Ligue 1 season.
However, with the player now keen to move on, the only question that remains is where he will go.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are both desperate to sign the player, with Real looking to fill the void created by Alvaro Morata's move to Chelsea and Barca looking to replace Neymar as he closes in on his move to PSG.
The Monegasque side are believed to be demanding £178m for the France international, a fee that will raise yet more questions about Finacial Fair Play rules.
