Australia had the perfect start to the Tournament of Nations, with victory secured against Brazil, and Sam Kerr adding another to her impressive international goal tally.
Alen Stajcic decided to bring off goalscorer Kerr, and give Mary Fowler a run out on the field.
Fowler will now join Sam Kerr in the history books, making her debut at age 15years and 162days.
Kerr debuted for the Matildas in 2009, when she was just 9 days younger than Fowler. The current record-holder is still Sharon Wass who made her debut at age 14 in 1981.

Fowler has enjoyed a speedy rise to prominence in Australia.
She currently plays in the NSW Women's NPL with Bankstown City.
She notched an impressive 10 goals in 6 outings at the AFF Women's Championship in Indonesia, which was what convinced Stajcic to give her a chance.
There is some uncertainty surrounding Fowler's international allegiance, as she was born to an Irish father, meaning she would qualify to play for Ireland.
Her brother and sister have both represented Ireland at youth level, and Fowler has told the press that she'd like to represent the same country as her sibilings.
"I want to play for Australia, but obviously Ciara and Quivi have played for Ireland," she told the AAP. "And we all want to play together for the same country. Family is really important to me, it’s important to all of us. I’m not in any rush to make that decision right now, I’m only 15, so we’ll see."
