Marcelo all but ruled out of clash with Eibar

Setback for Real Madrid. Marcelo had to go off during the match with Galatasaray and he will undergo tests this Friday. 

The cited media outlet states that the injury is not worrying, but it is bad enough to keep him out of action at the weekend. As a result, he will aim to be back ready for after the international break. 

He has not been called up by Tite for Brazil's games in November so he will have valuable time to recover and be fit for Real Madrid's meeting with Real Sociedad on 23rd November. 

The 2019-20 season has without doubt been an eventful one for Marcelo, who has picked up his third injury so far this season. The full back has played 626 minutes spread across eight games.
