Maradona's debut at Sevilla turned 28 today and he still remembers it

Although his journey with Sevilla was disappointing and Diego Armando Maradona went downhill, the Argentine has not forgotten the club and still feels a strong affinity with the team.

He demonstrated it by sharing a photo on his social media pages for the 28th anniversary of his debut in the team, during a visit to Athletic on 4 October 1992.

Maradona is pictured with Julen Guerrero, whom he did not hesitate to compliment. The 'lion' was one of the best players of the moment and Diego spoke of him as the "great" Julen Guerrero.

"One more year since my official debut with Sevilla. Here, with the great Julen Guerrero. My love and thanks to all the Sevillistas!!", he wrote on Instagram.

 His memory of that match, the first official one, is not the best one, as Sevilla lost 2-1 in spite of being ahead.
