Maradona accused of sexually assaulting Russian journalist

Ekaterina Nadolskaya, the supposed victim, alleges that the Argentinian tried to sexually assault her as she interviewed him following the final of the Confederations Cup.

A journalist from the 'Globo' network claimed to have seen Nadolskaya leaving the hotel, accompanied by three police officers, on Monday morning, hours after the alleged attack took place.

The alleged incident took place when, after meeting in a restaurant, Maradona invited the journalist to his room to do an inteview. The pair enjoyed a drink together an just after starting the interview, Maradona is alleged to have tried to remove Nadolskaya's clothes, causing the Russian to scream for security.
