Manchester United will face the ASEAN All Stars in Kuala Lumpur on 28 May, followed by a match in Hong Kong two days later. The tour will kick off shortly after United's final league fixture at home against Aston Villa on 25 May.
The trip is expected to generate approximately $10 million (£7.8 million) for the club.
Following the friendlies, the team's international players will join their respective national teams for international fixtures the following week.
The increased demands on players due to expanded international tournaments, including FIFA's Club World Cup and UEFA's new Champions League format, have led to discussions about player workload this season.
