Man Utd rule out signing Arnautovic after public outcry

Man Utd will not continue negotiating the signing of Marko Arnautovic because of the numerous complaints they received from their own fans after the offer was rejected, 'The Athletic' reports.
The club were in negotiations to get hold of Marko Arnautovic, who plays for Bologna. The Italian club turned down an offer of seven million pounds from the Premier League outfit.
At that moment, the Man Utd supporters got involved. The English supporters complained to the club and asked them to stop trying to sign the footballer.
The reason was because the footballer made a racist comment in the Euro 2020 match between Austria and North Macedonia. Marko Arnautovic denies this was the case. He was also accused of this when he was playing for Twente.
Despite the player denying the allegations, Man Utd decided to give into public pressure because of the huge amount of emails the club had received and they took the decision to rule out signing the player.
