Man United's Hojlund attracts interest of Serie A giants

Rasmus Hojlund has not been able to live up to expectations since joining Manchester United from Atalanta for £64 million in the summer of 2023. In his second campaign at Old Trafford, the Dane has only managed to rack up 10 goals and 2 assists from 51 appearances.
Hojlund's poor performances have opened the doors for a departure in the upcoming summer transfer window, with Serie A clubs particularly interested in signing him. According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Napoli, Inter Milan, and Juventus are in a three-horse battle for the 22-year-old.
It is understood that the Nerazzurri have gathered information on the Man United striker in recent weeks to study the feasibility of a move, while Napoli and Juventus have already done so between March and April. Concrete offers and talks are yet to be initiated from any of them.
Inter had shown interest in Hojlund prior to his move to the Premier League, but were forced into surrender after failing to match Man United's lucrative offer. However, with his market value now decreased, Simone Inzaghi's side may have a chance to seal a deal.
Romano also informs that a route towards Hojlund will be assessed after Inter make a verdict on their own exits in attack, with Mehdi Taremi's future hanging in the balance. Elsewhere, Joaquin Correa and Marko Arnautovic are expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
