Madrid complete third pitch change at the Bernabeu

Real Madrid are not very happy with the results the Santiago Bernabeu's pitch is giving, and they've changed it again. The Madrid side will play their first game on the new turf, which will be their third of the season, against Elche.
The source 'nuevo Bernabeu', who cover the progress of the side, released images on Twitter of the new pitch, which will get its first outing in the postponed La Liga matchday 21 clash.
The 'Meregues' weren't happy with the last two versions and it was the players themselves who asked for it to be changed. The lack of light due to the stadium works and the dust meant that it wasn't sealed down properly.
Madrid had to change the pitch in September, and the changes cost the club more than €500,000. As you could see for the games against Atletico, Real Sociedad and Valencia, the pitch was in terrible condition.
It is hoped that the new pitch helps the side to put their problems behind them and to play better ahead of part of the season with a lot of games coming up.
