Liverpool release new away kit

The club have claimed that the kit has been inspired by the club's first European Cup victory in 1977 and the distinct designs on the cover of the programme for the game.

More than 40 years on from their triumph over Borussia Monchengladbach in Rome, the club have paid tribute to the side which lifted the illustrious trophy at the Stadio Olympico.

The famous words of Bill Shankly 'Liverpool was made for me and I was made for Liverpool' is referenced on the internal hem of the shirt.
