Lewandowski asks to leave Bayern at the end of the season

Robert Lewandowski dreams of playing in another one of Europe's big leagues. It's not the first time rumours have spread regarding the potential departure of the Poland international. Despite being one of the first names on Bayern's teamsheet, he has won it all and now wants to challenge himself elsewhere.
'Sky Sports' were the ones to inform that Robert Lewandowski has asked the Bayern Munich directive to let him leave the club to be able to fulfill this wish before entering the final stages of his career.
That being said, any transfer will have to be made next summer, with the aim of playing the 2022/23 season at his new club. In this summer's window, no club seem able to match Bayern's price tag, nor are the Germans willing to let him go, as his contract is still valid until 2023.
Lewandowski looks to dominate one of next summer's most dramatic transfer sagas, as his desire to leave Bayern is real. He will leave behind an impressive legacy at a club with which, at the moment, he has scored a staggering 297 goals in 331 matches to go alongside an endless erray of personal and collective awards.
