“I came convinced that Barcelona have a team to fight for everything”

Dani Olmo found it difficult to achieve stability at Barca. At first, the registration in the summer, then injuries and the new drama in January. But it seems that all that is over, he is already a regular in Hansi Flick's eleven and he is smiling again with the Spanish national team. Now he hopes to give his best in a very demanding final stretch for the 'Cules', who also face it with all the ambition, as described by the same player.
The player from Terrasa was chosen as the godfather of the 23rd edition of the Mediterranean International Cup, the MIC, one of the most famous youth football tournaments in Spain, which will be held between April 16th and 20th on the Costa Brava. At the presentation ceremony, Dani Olmo answered the questions of journalist Gerard Romero and reviewed the news of Hansi Flick's team.
“I am here to win, I was convinced that we had the team to fight for everything, that we could win titles and we are alive in all competitions. That was the objective, to compete to win, and we are doing so in the most important phase of the season,” said Olmo, who, unlike Pedri, took a breath when he heard talk of a Barca-Madrid Champions League final and simply said that "it would be a great game".
Questioned about who are the Barcelona teammates he would share a room with, he was quick. “Pedri, Eric (Garcia) and Ferran (Torres),” he replied. On Hansi Flick and the serious expression he conveys, Olmo wanted to dispel rumours: “He's like Eric, he's a bit deceptive. The truth is that there are moments for everything in the coexistence, in the talks, in the trainings and we are very happy with him and with the staff, they are very close”.
Olmo also recalled his time as a child at MIC: “The best memory is the experience, being able to play against teams that you don't usually play against in the League. I would tell the kids who play in the league this year to enjoy a special and unforgettable experience.
