Everything that can happen regarding Frank Lampard and Chelsea is still up in the air. He currently has a contract with Derby County and the team is delighted with him, but the club of his life might require him once Maurizio Sarri leaves.
If Chelsea's possible proposal for Lampard to become the new Chelsea coach is accepted, the club's all-time leading scorer would ask for the arrival of Didier Drogba, who would act as second coach and become his right hand, according to 'Sun'.
Derby County, however, will not make the departure of their current coach any easier. He is currently engaged in discussions with his representative for a possible renewal including contract upgrade and will not let him out unless Chelsea pays five million.
