Klopp calls out Anfield fans for disappointing reaction to TAA's exit

The England international, who grew up supporting Liverpool, revealed his decision to depart earlier this month and is widely tipped to join Real Madrid.
His farewell has not gone smoothly as fans booed him when he came on as a substitute in last week's 2-2 draw with Arsenal, while he was left out of the squad in the recent 3-2 defeat at Brighton.
"I'm not saying don't be disappointed he's leaving… but don't forget what he's done for the club," Klopp said, urging supporters to remember the player's significant contributions during his time at Anfield.
Klopp admitted his own disappointment at the hostile reaction, revealing he turned off his television after hearing the jeers. "This isn't us," he added, emphasising that such behaviour is not in line with the club's values or traditions.
Liverpool secured the Premier League title last month with four games to spare and are set to receive the trophy after Sunday's clash with FA Cup winners Crystal Palace.
As the club prepares to celebrate, Klopp's comments serve as a reminder of the respect due to players who have given their all for the Reds.
