Kessie to have talk with Xavi about future

Barcelona have already won La Liga. That is why the 'Cule' board are now focusing on compiling the squad for next season, and some players will have to leave if they are to get new faces in.
Frank Kessie's name is on that list. The midfielder has a contract until 2026, but could be used as a bargaining chip, considering he's been playing less and less in recent games.
However, according to 'Sport', the player's wish is to stay for next season, which means that, in the coming weeks, he will sit down with Xavi to tell him of his plans.
Kessie has played a total of 40 games so far this season, even though he has started just 14. What's more, the Ivory Coast star has got his name on the score sheet three times, as well as getting three assists. Despite all that, his spot in the side is not gauranteed for next season.
