Julian Araujo completes first training session as Barcelona player

Julian Araujo completed his first training session as a Barcelona player on Wednesday. The club showed a part of the training session on social media.

The Mexican has created a lot of expectation among the fans. His compatriots are eager for him to play in the first team. However, Xavi Hernandez has not yet counted on him because it is too early.

The defender knows how to play at the elite level of football from his past with LA Galaxy. Araujo played 40 competitive matches in the Major League Soccer.

The 21-year-old will be supported by his coach Rafa Marquez, who is also Mexican. His contract will expire in 2026 so he will be able to progressively move up in the team.
