Jovic's example for stragglers

Jovic's redemption is an example for those who are struggling, such as Bale, Hazard and Mariano. Ancelotti wants to rescue the best version of each member of his squad, and the Serbian is doing just that.

Against Real Sociedad he had to replace the injured Benzema, and his performance was excellent: he gave a magical assist to Vinicius and scored the second in a pure striker's action.

The Italian coach rewarded him with a starting place against Inter Milan, in the match that closed the group stage of this Champions League. He did not score, but his work was noticed in the victory.

His good level in the absence of Benzema has especially pleased Ancelotti, who has already taken him into account a little more in a rotation that will be key to reach the end of the season with fuel.

Real Madrid are confident that Ancelotti will find the best version of the Serbian, for whom the club invested heavily. Zidane did not succeed and, in fact, returned to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan.

He has only played two games at a high level, although he is already a positive example for the laggards in the squad. The next step is to bring Bale and Hazard back to the cause.
