Joao Felix has 3 goals and 1 assist for Barca so far. He seems to have recovered his best form and Saul, his former teammate at Atletico Madrid, wished him all the best in this new stage.
"He is a great player. He was unlucky not to be able to show it at Atletico. I know he's very good, but you have to want to, try to adapt and, in the end, if his head wasn't in the best place... it couldn't be here," he told 'Movistar+'.
However, the midfielder did give him a slap on the wrist because he considers that he did not act as he should have: "I think he could have done things better at Atletico and that took its toll, logically".
Saul, in any case, hopes he succeeds wherever he goes. "I wish him all the best and that everything goes well for him at Barca. He has started very, very strongly", he concluded.
