"It was a tough match, we have to continue to suffer together"

Real Madrid's Uruguayan midfielder Fede Valverde admitted that, despite the 2-0 win over Osasuna, it was "a tough game" and that they have to "keep suffering together" as "there is still a lot of season left".
"We knew it would be a tough game. Playing here is always like that, against a team that fights until the end and it's hard to find spaces in their defence. As the minutes go by, you can feel the fatigue from the many matches we've played. We are happy with the work of our teammates and we have to continue to suffer together, as there is still a long season ahead", he said on 'DAZN'.
Valverde, who scored Real Madrid's first goal, has now scored 12 this season (seven in La Liga) and commented that they have gone from asking him for the ten goals he has already scored to 20. "They have told me 20.
"I don't know what I'm going to get out of it, but I'm going to fight for something important, as I'm struggling to score goals," he said of a bet that won over his Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti by scoring ten, which helped him grow as a footballer.
"That pressure he gave me, even though it's a game between us, in my head it played a big part in my decision making. Now the first thing I do is look at the goal," he said.
