"It's normal for the fans to expect something, but I haven't played for three years"

Luka Jovic is not used to playing. The Serbian striker is struggling to get into a competitive rhythm at a Fiorentina side that has started to tire of his poor numbers.
The Balkan wanted to excuse in an interview with 'Informer'. He did so by arguing that he has hardly played since his arrival at Real Madrid.
"Expectations are high when a Real Madrid player arrives at Fiorentina. It's normal that the fans expect me to make a difference from the first moment, but I haven't played for three years and that's why it may take me longer," he said.
Jovic said he expected "a complicated season". "After the first few games, it seems clear to me that this is the case," added the Fiorentina striker.
"I will need time to return to my best. I'm here to work and try to integrate as soon as possible, to try to fit in as soon as possible with the rest of the team, but I'm sure that everything will improve game by game. The expectation on me is high, but I haven't played for three years," he said.
