Inter Milan join race for Sissoko

The France international has been linked with a number of high-profile clubs this summer, most notably Real Madrid, and now Inter Milan is the latest name to be mentioned as a possible destination for the midfielder.

Despite being linked with some of Europe's top clubs, Newcastle's asking price of £35m has appeared to have put teams off signing the 27-year-old, especially as he was part of a team which was relegated from the Premier League last season.

Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez previously said that the midfielder will not leave on the cheap.

"Moussa is now the big name in the market," he said

"If someone wants Moussa they have to pay".
