"I tried to return to Barca; we tried everything, but it wasn't possible"

Neymar was almost seen in Barcelona colours again. The Brazilian himself confirmed to 'Fenomenos' that he tried to return to the Catalan club, but in the end it was not possible.

"I wanted to go back to Barca. We tried everything we could but it didn't happen", he said when revealing the facts about summer 2019. He hoped to play with Leo Messi there again.

But the sitaution changed. "In the end they presented him with an opportunity to sign for PSG. I am very happy. He is my friend and we get on very well", he said.

Another subject that the Brazilian touched on was his retirement. Troubled by the physical problems he has had during the past few years, the forward is unsure as to when he will hang up his boots.

"Physically I believe I could hang on for a few more years, but my head has to be in it as well. I don't want to say a specific age that I will retire at", he indicated.

In fact, Neymar intends to hang up his boots at Santos, where it all started for him. This will be after a brief spell in the United States.
