"I'm a big fan of Valverde, if he keeps going like this, I don't see any limits"

Without a doubt, Fede Valverde's breakthrough season at Real Madrid has been more than remarkable. The Uruguayan midfielder has already scored seven goals in all competitions and has become a permanent fixture in the starting eleven for coach Carlo Ancelotti.
His midfield partner Toni Kroos spoke about the Uruguayan's situation in his podcast 'Einfach mal Luppen'. He also spoke about when he first saw him and his first impressions after seeing him on the pitch.
"I remember it was during the 2018-19 season tour in the United States. Our physio warned me to keep an eye on him because he knew I was his idol. I immediately realised he was a great kid. Very quiet and humble. That was what I liked most about him. He didn't act any different because he travelled with us," he explained.
He also stressed his playing style from the start: "I always liked the way he played. Watching him on the pitch you knew he could grow a lot and become a special player. At the beginning, he was more irregular in his performances, but he always wanted to improve and he gained the confidence of the coaches.
The German praised Valverde on social media and put him in the world's top three: "My tweet the other day was because he's in excellent form and to play like that with the level the team is showing is special. Regardless of his current form, I think he's a great player.
"He is also very fast while driving the ball and he has a great pass. His shooting has always been incredible and now it's showing with his goals. He can play more as a winger but also as an '8'. To be honest, that's where I see him more and more in the future," said the 2014 World Cup winner.
Finally, he claimed to be a fan: "I think he will be a world-class player for Madrid for at least the next ten years. If he keeps going like this, I don't see any limits for him. He is very, very complete. If he doesn't see a solution with the ball at some point then he picks up the ball and goes straight for the opposition goal. I'm a big fan of Valverde".
