"I gave Reguilon a roasted pig because he was going to be alone, but he wasn't..."

At a critical time in London because of the rise in coronavirus cases, and after the stadiums were emptied once again, several Tottenham players were caught at a New Year's Eve party with over a dozen people and without any action.
Sergio Reguilon, Giovani Lo Celso and Erik Lamela were the guilty players. They were in a house with family and friends, as well as the West Ham player Manu Lanzini, and were not wearing masks or keeping any kind of separation.
José Mourinho was questioned over this after Tottenham-Leeds and did not hide his anger. Especially with Reguilon, with whom he has a good relationship and to whom he gave a gift for these days thinking that he would be alone in London.
"I gave him an incredible gift, a Portuguese piglet that is very good. I gave it to him because he told me that he would be alone at Christmas, but you could see that he was not. As a club we feel disappointed," said the Portuguese coach.
"We try to educate our players, so it was a negative surprise for us. I prefer to say that I am disappointed rather than angry," added an annoyed Jose Mourinho.
