"I don't know if it was handball"

Burnley appeared to be set for a hard-earned point at home to the Gunners, only for Koscielny to score from close range in the dying stages of the match.

However, replays show that the ball hit the defender's arm as he bundled in Arsenal's winner. Koscielny though, says he "doesn't know" whether the ball touched his arm.

"I don't know if it was handball. I tried with my right foot and I don't know if I touch it with my hand," he told 'Sky Sports' after the game. "The referee gave the goal and you need to respect the decision".

Despite Koscielny's claims, Arsene Wenger admitted that his side were lucky to win the game. Burnley manager Sean Dyche also thinks that the referee probably made a mistake, but also said his side should have defended the set-piece better.

"You have to question the added time, the corner and whether it should have come in, the handball and question whether we should have dealt with it," he told 'Sky Sports'.

"It's a poor way to end a game. We are disappointed in that but encouraged by the performance.

"We were taking on one of the super power clubs. Obviously it's the ultimate frustration with the last 10 seconds or so".
