Jese Rodriguez was one of the most promising players with the best future in Real Madrid's reserve team when he made his debut for the first team at the age of 19. Many expectations were placed on him and few were fulfilled.
His career went downhill and he began to be more of a protagonist off the pitch than on it. In 'El Partidazo de COPE', the Spaniard reviewed all these years and left some current headlines.
Jesé was honest about his departure from Real Madrid, which took place in 2016 to join PSG: "I left with the feeling that I was leaving to come back, honestly, but then a lot of things happen in football".
It has taken Jese five years to play more than 18 games in a single season, as these are very poor numbers when he left 'Los Blancos' scoring six goals in 38 appearances (11 of them as a starter).
"I had a very bad injury that stopped me from doing a lot of things. I don't know if I would have won the Ballon d'Or, but without that injury, I think I would be at Real Madrid today.
As for his new challenge in Turkey, Jese was attracted by the fact that he has been given "freedom to make decisions in the dressing room" and because "they are putting together a good team to fight for everything".
