The Argentine forward has been at the top of the game for over a decade now, and continues to wow football fans across the world.
While his talent was clear to see from the moment he broke in to the Barcelona first-team at the age of 18, but since then he has shown himself to be one of the greatest to ever play the game.
One huge fan of Messi's is Thierry Henry, with the two playing together in Pep Guardiola's famous 2008-09 team, and Henry has revealed the moment he knew Messi was on another level.
"The best goal I've seen him score was against Malaga at home because that defied logic what he did," the Frenchman revealed in 'Take the Ball, Pass the Ball', a new documentary about Guardiola's time with the Catalan giants.
"Diagonal ball, he controls it on his chest, runs full speed. First player goes, second player is just behind. He takes another step, that player can clear the ball.
"If he's got the ball on his left foot here, how do you go back with that same leg and touch the ball in the air, in between the two to make sure that guy doesn't touch it - and then almost fail but smash it into the top corner. That's not normal."
