Heinze: I insulted Roy Keane and next thing I knew I was on the floor

When Heinze arrived in Manchester he barely spoke any English, not that it stopped him from having a confrontation with Roy Keane, as the former Argentinian international revealed on television in his homeland recently.
"We lost away at Middlesbrough and I was always one of the first to return to the dressing room. Keane came in behind me. I didn't speak any English, only a few insults. I saw that he told me to 'f*** o**' and I, being young, went up to him and said 'f*** o*** you'. I don't remember what happened next" said the Argentine, laughing.
"By the time I tried to bring my arm up to protect myself I was already on the floor. Oddly enough, he came to pick me up to take me to training everyday but we never said a word to one another. The following day, I thought they were going to kick me out of the club. In the next training session, we collided with each other in a small-sided game and he told me, 'what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch and what happens in the dressing room, stays in the dressing room.'" he recalled.
Not that he harbours any grudges "He was one of the best captains United have had and one of the playeer I admire most. We didn't have any problems after that" added Heinze.
