Hazard making slow progress and will miss the Supercup

One month after his injury, it looks likely that Eden Hazard will not be back on the date that the player and Real Madrid medical team set. Madrid hoped that the Belgian would be back in time for the Spanish Supercup, but that doesn't look likely.
'Marca' assures that the player will not be available for the tournament which starts on 8th January in Saudi Arabia, and 'ABC' adds that he is predicted to be back by the end of January or start of February.
After 7 tests, it was found at the start of December that Hazard suffered a 3mm bone fracture. And although the player has made good progress, the process is slow and he still isn't in a condition to receive the discharge.
That's the way it is, 12 days from travelling to Yeda, Hazard still hasn't been back training. For now, he is only working in the gym and Real Madrid are conservative with the player.
In this month without Hazard, Madrid have missed the player in the final third, but they don't want to risk the Belgian, and they now hope to have him back for the match against Atlético and the first leg against Manchester City, in the first few weeks of February.
