Harry Kane: 'We have more belief than ever now'

The Tottenham forward played a decisive role in England's win over Colombia, after scoring a second-half penalty to give his side the lead, and then held his nerve to score a second penalty in the shootout to help England win the match.
The Three Lions' captain, who is the front-runner for the Golden Boot award in Russia, was seen celebrating wildly after Eric Dier had put the team through to the last 8 of the competition tackling goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to the ground in celebration.
Kane had only been named as the England captain just before the World Cup, but looked the part after the game as he answered questions about his team's performance.
"Obviously we'd spoken a lot about being an inexperienced and young team, but we grew up a lot on that pitch," Kane said.
"There were mixed emotions, highs and lows, even in the penalty shoot-out. We were behind, and wanting Pickers to save one, and he did. It showed our mentality."
The England team winning the match was a momentous occasion, given that it was their first win in a knockout game at a major tournament in 12 years, and the first time the Three Lions have ever won a World Cup penalty shootout.
"'It showed the togetherness and character. These are the moments you really see that. It's a big night for England." the captain added.
England go on to play Sweden in the next round of the competition, looking to reach a first semi-final at a World Cup since 1990.
