"Graham Potter laid his cards out very early"

Chelsea are not going through their best moment. Potter's side have been suffering from a poor run of results since the start of the season.

However, fans are very upset as the London club invested a lot of money in new players in the January transfer window. They believe that the English coach is responsible for Chelsea's poor performances.

Chelsea defender Reece James gave his thoughts on his coach Graham Potter: "He is a great manager to work under. He's a very good person and I think that helps a lot as a manager. The relationship and how well you get on plays a big part in getting the most out the players.

"He laid his cards out very early when he arrived and that helped us a lot. Even in the spell we are in transparency is always there. We always know our targets and our end goals," he added.

Moreover, the English player spoke about his return to the team after being injured: "It's a great feeling to be back out there and trying to help the team as much as I can. It was a tough four or five months, missing a lot of football, missing a major tournament and the team being in a difficult position at the moment as well. But it's great to be back out there and trying to enjoy football again and helping the team," James said.
