Gnagnon returns to Rennes on loan

Rennes will bear almost all of the costs of the player's salary, but they will not get a purchase option for the footballer who came through their academy. 

Gnagnon trained this Monday with the rest of his teammates with his mind on the next league game, this Sunday against Nice. Rennes will look to keep their 100% record in Ligue 1. 

"In his season at Sevilla, Gnagnon made a total of 16 competitive appearances: seven in La Liga, six in the Europa League and three in the Copa del Rey," Sevilla said in a statement. 

For the new campaign, Lopetegui decided not to count on the young French defender who returns home almost one year after moving to Spain for 13.5 million euros. Great business by Rennes.
