Giroud may not start despite scoring four v Sevilla

Giroud has started just twice this season for Chelsea and he got four goals last season. Excellent performances which will probably not be enough for him to start on Saturday. He looks set to be on the bench versus Leeds. 

The English press are reporting that, despite getting four goals against Sevilla, Lampard will not play him from the beginning. 

He has come off the bench eight times this season and just stayed on the bench another seven times. He has scored six goals in just 274 minutes this term and he has never played the 90 minutes. 

Four of them were in the Champions League last Wednesday. It was enough for him to show his worth and send a message out to France coach Didier Deschamps. 

Frank Lampard does not think Giroud is the type of player he needs for his style of play and so he does not play him much. He will be on the bench on Saturday against Bielsa's men, 'The Daily Star' reports.
