Funeral of Vichai Srivaddhanaprahba begins

The funeral of the beloved late Leicester chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprahba has gotten underway in his home country of Thailand this weekend.
In a tragic turn of events last Saturday, Srivaddhanaprahba was one of five killed in a helicopter crash outside Leicester City's King Power stadium after the club's match against West Ham United.
The ceremony will take place over a number of days, starting with a service at the Buddhist temple in Bangkok, which is expected to be full with wellwishers and members of the Thai elite paying their respects to the businessman.
Srivaddhanaprahba's body was flown to Thailand on friday and taken to Wat Debsirindrawas ahead of the official ceremony, which will end on November 9.
The body will then be kept for 100 days, with his cremation to be set for a future date.
Many of the Leicester City players were personally close to the chairman, and so the squad will collectively fly to Thailand after their Premier League match with Cardiff City, in order to attend the ceremony.
According to 'Sky Sports' news reporter Rob Dorsett, the Princess of Thailand's funeral is also due to take place, and as such there is a huge media presence on the area, split between the two ceremonies.
