Fornals and Di Santo given two match bans for protesting

Sarabia, according to the referee's match report, was sent off in the 83rd minute of the 1-1 draw between Rayo and Betis for "repeatedly protesting our decisions in an ostenible manner, shouting and gesticulating, after having been warned."

In the same game, the Argentine Franco di Santo saw red after the full time whistle because while he was still on the pitch, he repeatedly shouted at the referee "You are very bad!". When he was leaving the pitch he also shouted "They whistle him because he is very bad". 

Fornals is banned because after 3-2 loss at Celta Vigo, while he was in the tunnel, he said to the linesman "You are all chickens, you are chickens", according to the match report.

Finaly, various players have received a one game ban for picking up their fifth yellow card of the season. The ten players are: Juanpe Ramirez (Girona), Flamini (Getafe), Braithwaite (Leganés), Manu García (Alavés), Bardhi (Levante), Cucurella (Eibar), Éver Banega (Sevilla), Anuar Mohamed Tuhami and Enes Unal (Valladolid) and Nacho Fernández (Real Madrid).​
