Epic fail by Wolfsberger's Christopher Wernitznig

Wolfsberger midfielder Christopher Wernitznig was the protagonist of a truly hilarious corner fail during the first half of his side's 5-0 Europa League third qualifying round second-leg defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

The 25-year-old Austrian was attempting to take a corner, but moments before connecting with the ball he lost his footing and tumbled to the ground, touching the ball with his sliding foot and sending it out for a goal kick.

The fail was greeted by a huge round of applause from the stands of Signal Iduna Park and even Wernitznig himself couldn't help himself from grinning.
