Donnarumma close to renewing contract until 2023

Gianluigi Donnarumma's renewal is one of the things AC Milan have been wanting to do for a long time because the Italian goalie is one of the club's key players despite his youth.
The goalkeeper's good work and his great future means many top European clubs are interested in him. AC Milan have been working on a new contract for him, but no agreement had been reached.
However, the latest reports suggest that that has now changed and Donnarumma will stay at the club.
According to 'Tuttosport', Donnarumma is reportedly very satisfied with Milan's latest proposals and he would be happy to extend his deal at the club until 2023.
The possible agreement would see the player's salary reduced although that would be compensated by including plenty of achievable bonuses in the contract. In the end, he will actually earn more than what he gets now.
It is worth remembering that Donnarumma, despite being just 21, has made 198 Milan appearances and has 16 caps for Italy.
