Diaz and Asencio eye Sociedad clash after returning to Real Madrid training

One setback, two boosts. After losing Endrick to a hamstring contusion, which will keep him sidelined for around two months, Real Madrid saw the crucial returns of Brahim Diaz and Raul Asencio.
Diaz was sidelined after suffering injury to his left abductor longus in his left thigh since the 'Clasico' earlier this month, while Asencio sat out last week's trip to Sevilla with an overload.
However, the duo returned to team training on Wednesday afternoon and are now in line to make it in the squad for Saturday's La Liga finale against Real Sociedad at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Their returns are a big boost for Los Blancos amid their ongoing injury crisis, as nine starters are still ruled out - Militao, Carvajal, Camavinga, Mendy, Rudiger, Alaba, Rodrygo, Vinicius, and Endrick.
