Darwin Nunez rejects Manchester United

This summer's transfer window will be one of the busiest to date. Haaland has already signed for City and the Mbappe saga continues to rumble on with names being linked from all corners of the world to Real Madrid and PSG.

One of whom is Darwin Nunez, who has burst onto the scene this season at Benfica. The forward has scored 34 goals in his 41 appearances this campaign. These statistics have caught the attention of Europe's biggest clubs such as PSG, Manchester United, Barca and Atletico. 

'The Mirror' has reported that the Uruguayan has already rejected one of said clubs. This being, Manchester United, due to the fact that they have failed to qualify for next season's edition of the Champions League. Currently the Red Devils sit in the Europa League place but they could drop into the  Conference League should they fail to win on the final day of the season.

United's 80 million euro proposal has been rejected the Benfica striker. However, he is still open to interest from other clubs such as PSG who are keeping their eye on him due to the Mbappe situation. It is reported by 'O Jogo' that the Parisians could pay as much as 120 million euros for his signature.
