Copa winner Aranquiz set for Leverkusen
The 26-year-old Chilean international is moving to Germany after one season with Brazilian club Internacional of Porte Alegre.
"We've reached agreement with the president of Porte Alegre. There are only the final details to sort out," Leverkusen owner Michael Schade told German newspaper Express.
"Our perseverance has paid off," he added.
"Charles Aranguiz is a super player, I'm certain he's going to help the team."
Aranguiz helped Chile to their first ever Copa America title, secured with last month's penalty shoot-out defeat of Argentina in the final in Santiago.
According to reports, Aranguiz joins Leverkusen in a five-year deal worth an estimated 11.5 million euros ($12.7 million, £8,.1 million).
