Conte wants to remain calm

It has been a while that people have been talking about Antonio Conte, considering that some Tottenham fans have been demanding more ambition. Therefore, he used the press conference after the Newcaslte defeat to ask for patience.
The Italian manager commented that "you see the contenders for the title when you play every three days and you realise that you need to have depth in the squad. Good and quality staff. We are in that process at the moment".
"We are trying to improve step by step, but we need time and patience. From my experience, we are doing it well, not the best, but with good rhythm. If we play a game every six or seven days, we can fight for an important title, but not if we play so frequently", the manager said.
Conte concluded: "We cannot invent wins or pull off miracles. If someone does not want to hear the reality, that's not my problem. From my experience, you have got to have patience. These players want to work a lot, but that is not enough on its own. If we have a lot of injuries, it affects our season".
