Chelsea now completed new deal for Christensen

Whether or not Jules Kounde ends up joining Chelsea from Sevilla, the Blues are working on renewing one of their players as soon as possible. 

We are talking about Andreas Christensen, a 25 year-old Danish central defender whose contract at Stamford Bridge expires in summer 2022. That is why renewing him as soon as possible is one of Chelsea's priorities. 

The 'Evening Standard' talks about this. Apparently, the Premier League side are close to reaching an agreement with the Danish international to extend his contract by another four seasons. 

The current Champions League winners have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Christensen, a player from the Chelsea academy, to renew until 30th June 2026.
