Chelsea handed Delap boost with November training return

Chelsea have confirmed that Liam Delap will resume training in November, following the muscle injury he suffered against Fulham.
The English forward was substituted in the first half of the London side's 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge on 30 August. In that match, Delap was replaced by Tyrique George after complaining of a hamstring problem.
After the match, Enzo Maresca expressed his concern and admitted that the lay-off could last up to eight weeks. Finally, the club's medical services have ruled out the need for surgery and estimate a recovery period of approximately ten weeks.
The striker's absence led to the decision to recall Marc Guiu, who was about to start a loan spell at Sunderland. The England Under-21 international will miss the start of the Champions League group stage, including the trip to Munich to face Bayern on 17 September.
He will also be unavailable for key Premier League fixtures, such as Liverpool's visit on 4 October and the London derby against Tottenham on 1 November.
