Cech believes that clashes with Tottenham are always the biggest game of the season for Arsenal fans and says it's the first fixture he looks for at the start of the season.
"It is the first fixture you look for, 100 per cent," he told the 'Mirror'. "When the programme comes out the first thing you look for is Spurs home and away.
"That is still the biggest game of the year for Arsenal fans. That is the way it is".
The former Chelsea 'keeper also insists that it will be a huge game, simply given the similar stature of the two teams.
"The first 10 games of the season have shown how tight everything will be and I think it will continue like this," he said. "Every game against your main rivals will make a difference".
He added: "This is like a six-point game. So, regardless of it being a derby, with all the excitement, it is a six-point game in the table".
