Edinson Cavani will end his time at Manchester United on 30th June. The Uruguayan has spent two years competing at Old Trafford with the English side, with whom he has played a total of 59 official matches.
Now, he is leaving with a letter of release under his arm and with "a bitter taste", as he himself has acknowledged, due to the lack of minutes he has had this season: only 910 in 20 games, eight of them as a starter.
At 35 years of age, Cavani still sees himself as having enough quality to continue competing at the highest level, so he is looking for a new club with which to continue fighting for new titles and it seems that his destination is in the Spanish league.
Villarreal, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are the three clubs that have shown most interest in signing Cavani, who is still a 'killer' in the opposition's penalty area, so the fact that his signing is free makes him one of the biggest bargains on the market.
