Madrid defender Dani Carvajal spoke to 'Movistar La Liga' just after the end of the 1-1 draw against Girona. He said to his teammates that they had to move on after the controversial penalty for a handball by Marco Asensio. The full-back also said that his team played very well and they deserved to win.
The Spanish international, still fuming over the penalty decision, did not want to give his opinion on that to the media. However, according to 'Marca', he spoke 'a little bit' about Melero Lopez's refereeing decisions: "I think it's impossible to referee the whole clash any worse. It's impossible."
Carvajal was not happy with the penalty given against his team and Rodrygo Goes' disallowed goal.
Marco Asensio, who conceded the penalty, also gave his version of events: "Tell me where I should put my hand."
