Benzema incredibly misses when it was easier to score!

Real Madrid missed a glorious opportunity through Karim Benzema. At 1-1, the French striker had the chance to put Real Madrid ahead. 

It all started with a cross in from the left to Asensio at the back post. Gaston Silva touched the ball, but he left it on the edge of the six yard box. 

The ball went to Benzema who had no one closing him down. He saw that goalkeeper Alvaro Fernandez, Seoane and Silva were at one post while the other side of the goal was empty. 

Benzema went for power, but he hit the ball straight at the Huesca keeper and it hit him on the chest. 

It was an error uncharacteristic of a player of Benzema's calibre. He is usually superb when it comes to finishing, but he went for power instead of placement.
