Ben Davies could leave Liverpool... without a debut

Last winter transfer window Liverpool signed English defender Ben Davies from Championship side Preston North End. Jürgen Klopp signed him due to the defensive problems of his squad (Van Dijk and Joe Gomez were injured for the whole season) for a fee of two million euros.
According to 'The Sun', the club are thinking of getting rid of the player, who has not even made his debut. His time at the English club will be difficult to remember, as he has not played a single minute. The centre-back himself was unlucky with injuries and sees his chances of making a place in the Reds' backline slipping away.
According to the source, Sheffield United are reportedly interested in signing the centre-back. The Blades would want the experienced defender after Brighton's Matt Clarke opted to join West Brom instead.
Before arriving in Liverpool, Davies enjoyed a good season at Preston, making 22 appearances for the Championship side. He started all of them and played a total of 1,961 minutes for the club.
