Bayern president matter of fact about Lewandowski: "He will complete his contract"

The Lewandowski transfer conversation rumbles on. It is without doubt one of the main stories of this year's transfer window. However, Herbert Hainer, Bayern Munich president wants to put an end to all the speculation.
"He is contracted until 30th June 2023 and he will complete it", affirmed the Bayern chief in comments to 'Bild' after being questioned on the future of the Polish star.
The director has not been the only person at the club to recently claim that Lewandowski will not be leaving this summer. Nagelsmann also touched on his player in his last press conference, and he spoke in the same vein: "Everyone know's the club's stance, my stance with Robert and the contract situation".
"Is he a part of my plans? He's contracted until 2023, so obviously he's in my plans. He'll be a starter in fact", affirmed the German manager ahead of his next match against Wolfsburg.
Lewandowski will enter the final year of his contract with the Bavarians next season. The player and club have failed to come to an agreement in terms of an extension thus far. In the last few months, it has been speculated that he will be leaving to clubs such as Barcelona.
Nevertheless, there has been no official information released from Barcelona regarding the Pole. But rumours have been heard coming from the Catalan capital.
