Istanbul Basaksehir president, Goksel Gumusdag, confirmed in an interview that Irfan Kahveci has various offers to leave this summer.
"Fenerbahce wanted to sign Irfan Kahveci, but we kept him in the team. Now Sevilla are interested in him. We told him that he should dream about playing in Europe", Gumusdag revealed.
And Sevilla see in Kahveci a player for the future, and especially ahead of next season to fill the gap left by Banega in Lopetegui's side.
A transfer of around 12 million euros is being spoken about for one of the players who has developed most in the Istanbul squad.
The player recently admitted that Spain would be a great destination for him. "When I was signing a new contract at the beginning of the season, I told our president that I wanted to win the title and then move abroad. He accepted it. I think La Liga is more suited to me than the other championships", he concluded.
